Swing into summer at The Paloznaki Jazzpiknik!
Get ready to groove under the summer sky at the Paloznaki Jazzpiknik! Set in the charming village of Paloznak, this jazz festival has grown from a cosy gathering into one of Hungary's premier music events. With main stage concerts by top Hungarian and international artists, guests can relax on blankets by day and dance under the stars by night. Smaller stages set among century-old village houses offer intimate jazz performances. The event focuses on quality gastronomy, local products, and sustainability—using compostable cups and plates and minimising plastic.
Since its humble beginnings in 2012, the Paloznaki Jazzpiknik has become a must-attend event for jazz lovers and festival-goers. What began as a small event in the village has evolved through the years, with a 3-day, 4-stage festival featuring around 40 concerts.
World-Class Jazz Performances: 2024’s lineup featured an exciting mix of international and Hungarian jazz talents. Performances by the American "Sprock icon": Anastacia, the 1980s ex-lead singer of the Spandau Ballet Tony Hadley, the Hungarian band Pénzes Máté és a Zseb and many more, made this year’s festival yet another success.
Gourmet Food and Drinks: Attendees relished culinary offerings from street food serving traditional Hungarian dishes alongside international cuisine to gourmet meals. The event also offered refreshing drinks, including artisanal cocktails, craft beers, and fine wines. This rich gastronomic experience complemented the festival’s vibrant music and picturesque setting, making it unforgettable.
Children’s Programs: This year featured a children’s program with activities like painting, handicrafts, creative educational games, and workshops for physical and environmental education.
A grand celebration of jazz, food and life
